Geosynchrony (n): 1. An orbital trajectory that brings a satellite over the same point of the earth at the same time each day. Not to be confused with geostationary orbits in which the satellite remains over the same terrestrial point continuously.
2. A metaphor for one's sense of contentment to be a small but engaged part of this beautiful oasis of life we call earth.
